Junior Achievment Greece: Where it all started

Junior Achievement Greece (JA Greece) is a non-profit organization and was founded in November 2005. It is a member of the global organization of education & entrepreneurship Junior Achievement Worldwide and implements the educational programs of the organization in Greece. JA Greece’s ongoing vision is to help young people create their own jobs through the global experiential and collaborative learning programs that it offers.

It was in one of these programs that we participated and collaborated to give birth to the idea of the “virtual business” School Synergy Snacks.

Our educational program was honored to receive the Silver Award at the Education Business Awards 2017, in the category of youth entrepreneurship. The idea of establishing and operating a Social Cooperative Enterprise was submitted and presented at the “Social Growth” competition organized by the Hellenic Broadcasting Corporation (ERT) and awarded with the first prize. Finally, the project won the silver prize in the student competition “Ideas for Sustainable Startups” organized by the MBA International of the Athens University of Economics and Business.

On 27 November 2019, our now real business, participated in the conference on Education and Entrepreneurship organized by J.A.G. Our enterprise was represented by the President of 3S, mr. George Bouloukos.
